I haven't really decided as of yet. While the whole "Fedora" concept
looks interesting, it's hard to say as of yet how it's going to work out.
Having been a RedHat user since 4.0, switching to anything should be an
interesting experience.

The only way I could see them doing that is release an older version free
when a new one comes out. I don't know what thier plans are, though.

Get one that does what you need, and that people around you can answer
questions on. From what I've seen on this list, you're pretty much
safe with just about anything but the most obscure distro.
