No, that'd be straight (I liked Jared's explaination too).

I just want to add here that many newer switches auto-detect their
connection (check the manual), so you can use either straight or
crossover cables. You can think of them as bisexual. ;)

Certainly. You can think of a switch as a juiced up hub, and a router as
a juiced up switch. You can connect the 2nd router's wan port to a
numbered port on the primary router (straight cable if not auto
detected), then configure the 2nd router appropriately (turn off dhcp
server functionality, etc.)
