None of those are crossovers.
Crossover will usually be labeled as "Uplink" or a funny X symbol.

In the tip, yes. Hold them next to each other with the thumbclickywidget
down. If the wires are in the same order its a straight-through.

For one it will take a beating from bugs etc before the cable will. For
two it takes any strain your fasteners may cause.
Be careful to route it a few feet from any fluorescent fixtures in the
ceiling- the ballasts produce noise on your cable and will result in
dropped packets.
