It uses PCLOS repositories. The creator of PCLOS, Texstar, used to
clean up the bugs in the Mandrake RPM's. He created his own
repository of improved Mandrake RPM's which Mandrake users can get
with URPMI. Eventually, he just created his own distro to use his
RPM's. His upgrades are as tested and stable as anyone's can be.

They start with their own as the first priority in the sources list,
but you can then use Debian sources for packages that they don't
have. See my other post about safely upgrading Ubuntu...
