Ditto.
I don't see this affecting IP one way or another.
Possibly a good thing for private schools (I imagine that some do this
already), but not publicly funded ones.
The Publicity Pamphlet says that "Legislation passed with Prop 102 (not
shown on ballot) ordered the books SEALED on these new \"tech
companies.\" Financial, technical and other information normally
available are CLOSED." (emphasis original)
That was enough to get my no vote.
