FWIW, my first LTSP adventure used GNOME. The Red Hat 8.0 flavor. I kept
running out of memory when I shouldn't have. Per the LTSP list folks, GNOME
seems (they suspected) to have a memory leak with LTSP. I think this is
only with LTSP. I've gone to KDE with no problems.

I want to stick with vanilla Knoppix for the CD-based distro. It'd be nice
to have them put GNOME back in. We need 2 GB CDROMs :).
