Thanks for the lead. That got me looking and one thing led to another
and the end result is that it all works now. gtk-theme-switch
(http://www.muhri.net/nav.php3?node=3Dgts) just did it. Apparently, it
wrote .gtkrc-2.0 which wasn't there before and voil=E0!
Thanks all. You may now resume your discussion on window manger
developers' philosophies.
