You mean besides /lib/modules? Kernel-wise, no, I don't think there's
anything else you would need. Of course, don't forget about /home and
/var/mail (or /var/spool/mail, as appropriate for your system). If you
actually use a root shell (as opposed to just using sudo for
everything), you'll probably want to grab /root, too (assuming that you
have any files of consequence there). If you're running a web server,
you'll probably want to snag /var/www, /home/httpd, or wherever you keep
your DocumentRoot. If you run an ftp daemon (may Root have mercy on
your soul), you should grab its directory tree as well. Saving a copy
of /etc is not a half-bad idea, either (you're on the right track with
your XF86Config file), but only for use as a reference and not to simply
drop back in place, of course.
Off the top of my head, that's about all I can think of, besides
/usr/local (if you need it).
