Kernel swap into Gentoo

I am thinkink hard about trying gentoo out and think that if I used my
current /boot would save a bunch of time... (as well as my lilo.config
anf XFree86-config4 or whatever it is)

Is there anything outside of /boot that I would need to copy over?
Everything is in there right?
