I have been running a Mastodon instance with a small group of AZ people at
https://az.social since Nov 2022, it's open for registrations if any AZ
folks are interested in joining. I've since added a Lemmy instance (like
Reddit) at https://lemmy.az.social. And I also run a Fediverse public user
profile search engine at https://western.social. Initially some friends
and I found it hard to find people in the Fediverse, so we started crawling
public profiles so we could better find people to follow.

I've been considering running other services, but I've got a lot of other
things keeping me busy so I haven't yet.
