This is simply good email list manners and a matter of user education.
Every once in a while someone points out this to new users in the list.
List members should remember to do this all the time and be patient with
me when I forget.

If find "OT" to be sufficient and just as easy to sort on. I suppose that
some may not know what the "OT" means but, again, a bit of education is a
good thing.

It makes very good sense.

This list rarely goes too far afield and is very good about
self-correction. Compared to some lists, it is excellent. Only recently
has flaming been an issue for a brief, single "war." Polite, off-topic
threads only happen occasionaly.

A good reminder now and then, such as this one from you, is a Good Thing(TM).
