Topic: Alternative Debian Distributions

Debian is a Linux distribution based on a vibrant community. But some
find it too old or too hard to install or whatever. But, it's
organization lends to excellent customization possibilities.

There are a great many Linux distributions that take the excellent base of
Debian and build highly usable custom distros for all. Knoppix is the
leading run from CD-ROM distro. Ubuntu is a new one getting lots of
possitive press. There are many others, all based on Debian.

Come see some of the distros that put some polish on Debian. You may even
be using Debian and not even know it!
