Well, I am not a stickler about this point but I do want to encourage
Linux or other FS/OSS based jobs as opposed to those related only with
closed source tools. PLUG is a LINUX group, after all. The purpose of
PLUG is to advocate, help and expand the use of Linux and other FS/OSS
software. Helping people find jobs for purely closed enviornments does
not fit PLUG's purpose, IMO.
Platform-neutral stuff is always welcome as it it can run on FS/OSS and
many projects based on such technologies are FS/OSS too.

From a pratical standpoint, many people, including myself, use closed
tools in closed environments every day. The FS/OSS economic base is not
yet large enough to support large scale employment within it. That is
changing, though. And I like to see PLUG help it along.
Disclaimer: Again, all the above is my opinion, not an official PLUG
statement of policy. Discussion of these issues once in a while is a good
thing. I certainly welcome the different points of veiw.
