Your first mistake was contacting cox, unless you didn't admit it.
Running emule by itself with a given file name of a certain size does
not prove anything.
I doubt they went further than that.
Would a video of your child playing for 2 hours with that name offered
on eDonkey prompt the same complaint?

I've downloaded a few movies from the net, many are so bad in quality
that they're not worth watching,
others are such bad movies to begin with that they're not worth watching
(Incredible Hulk.etc).
Same thing goes for music.. 90% of what the RIAA releases is complete CRAP.
The success of iTunes should tell them something.
The sad thing is that the MPAA could have turned this whole filesharing
thing into a huge money maker for them.
IT'S FREE ADVERTISING. If I watch a movie on my PC and I like it, I go
see it at the movies and then usually buy it when it comes out on DVD
(matrix 2 and 3 for example). Where they lose money is when they
produce a stinker.. and they DO a fair amount of time.
Most fall in to the category of "I'll sit through it once, but never twice".
In the same way that viral marketing is used, they could have just
started releasing versions of their movies chocked with ads/etc.
It's too late for them.. they've annoyed too many people.
You can't call your customers criminals and have them want to buy your
overpriced junk (grin)
I bought my entire existing CD collection (about 200 CDs) because of
Napster and .
I found some band I'd never heard of listened to a few songs and If I
liked them, bought their CD.
Guess how many CD's I've bought since then? Five. All were presents for
other people.
