no reason to sudo
telnet 10.10.10.10
that's it, automatically port 23
telnet 10.10.10.10 25
creates telnet connection to smtp port (25)
Linux / Windows same
You must have a means to reach that address. i.e. a NIC with an address
like 10.10.10.2 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0 (or 255.0.0.0 etc.)
