My boss has asked me to review Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX. We are actually running Solaris8, but figure this is a good place to start. Personally I am opposed to installing anything Windows on my box, for security reasons alone. We all know Microsoft is most vulnerable to attacks for whatever reason anyone would like to choose. I did a search for articles on google and only came up with three issues that were dated October 2002. Has anyone had any experience with this software, that could bolster my argument against installing it. It appears that It only supports C shell and K shell, and all of my end users use bourne, I use bash so I already have one argument. I need more though. Any help would be apprecieated.
