I agree with you 100% on everything you said. I've dealt with the
crappy cox reps far to many times. Way back in the early days I got
yelled at by a tier 2 technician because I wanted a static IP address
and to be able to FTP to my home computer. Their hold time has gone
down quite a bit in recent history though, and unfortunately I am now
forever hooked on needing 3 Mb downloads... I can't get DSL :( I wish
cable america was in my area, they allow static IPs and have 512 upload
and allow all kinds of servers including email for personal use.
