It also struck me initially as a bit of an over-reaction; I do appreciate
tech-job-related posts, and Matt's post looked interesting, and I thought it
was quite appropriate. But the problem is that I guess we need to draw the
line somewhere. I wouldn't want to see it flooded with junk from those giant
tech recruiting companies that spew out buzzwords and wouldn't know technical
proficiency if it bit them. That would almost as bad as those
penis-enlargement spams. :-)

I would also hate to see people joining the list just to send
penis-enlargement or viagra spams. :-)
