It also struck me initially as a bit of an over-reaction; I do appreciate tech-job-related posts, and Matt's post looked interesting, and I thought it was quite appropriate. But the problem is that I guess we need to draw the line somewhere. I wouldn't want to see it flooded with junk from those giant tech recruiting companies that spew out buzzwords and wouldn't know technical proficiency if it bit them.
