Alan,
I am one of those in need of employment.

However, my visual impairement makes that rather difficult most of the time
(having to take the bus across town bites) and so far, I haven't seen many
telecommute jobs that will work with me (those that I have seen require that
I be windows-centric).

Personally, I just wish folks would take my skills seriously (what I have of
them and haven't used in years). I'm less than 2 years away from 40 and would
like to, AT LEAST, feel useful and earn my way in society.
