Now you've done it! I wasn't going to get into this for awhile but you
sucked me in. Man cdrecord was very informative. Then again, I've
written a few SCSI device drivers. I don't know if a newbie would
understand it at all.
It was all I needed to get my G4 working with the internal DVD burner
and the external CD burner. I still can get the iBook to mount /dev/dvd
but by Googling around i found a long thread where someone got it
working. I just need to read and understand it. It's good to know that
the iBook is a special case and that there is a solution.
