Subject: Migrating from Redhat to Debian
I'm migrating my boxes at home from Redhat based
distros to Debian. Lately I've been playing with the
Knoppix based distros, I really liked the remasters by
Morphix, and I've been following the threads on using
Knoppix as a Debian installer. I went to the archives
to copy the threads and the archives no longer appear
to be maintained. Does anyone know where I can get
copies of those threads?
I've been using the Redhat based distros because of
their easy install. I've got a PIII running shrike, a
bondi imac running yellowdog, and a PII running
Mandrake 9. Which files on these boxes would contain
info that would help me with the Debian install?
Should I do the Intel boxes through Knoppix or go
right to Debian?
Thanks for the input,
Alex
