Fellow computer geeks,

Allow me to whole-heartedly recommend Go Daddy for all of your domain n=
ame=20
registration needs. I _am_ a little biased, seeing as how I work for the=20
company. I'm one of those tech support weenies that you may or may not ta=
lk=20
to on the phone if you ever need to call in.

If you would like to view the Domain Name Registration Agreement, or "EUL=
A",=20
please go to this link:
https://registrar.godaddy.com/regAgreement.asp?isc=3D&se=3D%2B&from%5Fapp=
=3D

If you would like to view the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution poli=
cy=20
which Go Daddy subscribes to through it's accrediting body, ICANN, go to =
this=20
link:
https://registrar.godaddy.com/dispute_policy.asp?isc=3D&se=3D%2B&from%5Fa=
pp=3D

General EULA page:
https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/agreements.asp?isc=3D&se=3D%2B&from%5Fapp=3D

Really, I can only think of two situations in which Go Daddy would knowin=
gly=20
cancel/change ownership of your domain.
1. You violate the terms of service/registration agreement.
2. On order from a court or arbitral tribunal.

Other situations may be specifically spelled out in the Registration agre=
ement=20
and/or UDRP.

If you buy domains from Go Daddy, you patronize a local company that has =
a=20
proven track record in the industry. Go Daddy was #1 in net new domains=20
registrations in 2002 and the 1st quarter of 2003. You can't get a record=
=20
like that if you offer poor products services.
If you would like to check the statistics yourself, go to this link:
http://www.registrarstats.com=20

Go Daddy supports domain registrations to the maximum amount allowed by I=
CANN;=20
10 years. Currently, com net org biz us info, and ws registrations are=20
supported. Most registrations start at around $8.95/yr, with the price=20
decreasing if you register for multiple years.

To quote one of the email list participants:
> PS: We are not the cheepest - you get what you pay for.($35.00 year)

To a point that's true. I've noticed that the more you pay for a domain=20
registration (i.e. NetworkSolutions $35/yr), the less you actually get.=20
Anyone who has dealt with this company knows that you basically throw you=
r=20
money into a black hole, never to be seen or heard from again. Judging=20
registrars based solely on the prices they charge is ridiculous. Once aga=
in,=20
take a look at the Registrar Stats page, then decide on your own who you =
want=20
to handle your domain name registrations.

Sorry to be a shill, folks. I just wanted to present some information in =
a=20
possible differentl light. If anyone has any questions about features,=20
prices, or just domain registrations in general, just let me know and I'l=
l do=20
the best I can to answer your questions.
