Subject: Best Place to Register a Domain Name, Opinions Wanted
I can second the recommendation for Gandi.net. I started registering
with Gandi about three years ago, and I've never had a problem. They're
excellent about notifying you _before_ your domains need to be renewed.
I think they're still 12 Euro per name per year, which right now (weak
dollar) is actually about $14 US.
