I would be interested in doing a class on c++ development.
Intro to C++ Programming on Linux
Session 1:
built-in datatypes
language elements
functions
compiling with gcc
Session 2:
classes and objects
building with make
debugging with gdb
I would have handouts. Additionally, there are several excellent texts available on the subject.
I would prefer to hold classes on the weekend, although evenings would also work for me.
There is approximately 16 hours of material - Best to split into 2 sessions with 2 4-hour classes each.
Pricing is flexible - perhaps $79 per session per student.
I could handle up to 15-20 students. I have taught c++ programming before.
I can bring a laptop and an overhead projector. It would be best to have workstations for each student.
Another class I would be very interested in doing(not entry level though):
OpenGL Programming in C++ on Linux
Although I am not sure we could find enough interested students.
Let me know if you are interested in either of these classes.
Thanks
