Subject: Re: Linux distro options ...
11 out of 10 times when my Linux installation gets weird is is my fault,
because I putter and tinker with things to learn and just see if this one
thing that I don't like can be made gone.

Currently I have a dual boot of windows 10, and it will live there just
long enough for me to finish fooling about with a couple of games I am
playing, because I want to, get this tinker and putter and do things that
are unsupported. given they are windows native games running modifications
on them is not always functional under wine. not that it breaks really its
that certain elements just don't work.

Everything else I do is 100% Linux. and right now that is Garuda Linux,
(Arch variant) for the gaming related extras that they have baked in for my
needs.

all of it just works, wonderfully, until I mess with it. but the best part
is. you have access to logs, errors, and some remarkable documentation
across the internet and it never stays broken long.

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from
rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
