My Fiancee has a POS system and uses Qwest DSL. I just ssh'd into the
server and did a test with wget, here are the results:
[cjones@ace ~]$ wget
https://netconnect.paymentech.net/NetConnect/controler
--10:41:39--
https://netconnect.paymentech.net/NetConnect/controler
Resolving netconnect.paymentech.net... 65.124.118.170
Connecting to netconnect.paymentech.net|65.124.118.170|:443... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
10:41:39 ERROR 404: Not Found.
[cjones@ace ~]$ wget
https://netconnect.paymentech.net
--10:42:42--
https://netconnect.paymentech.net/
Resolving netconnect.paymentech.net... 65.124.118.170
Connecting to netconnect.paymentech.net|65.124.118.170|:443... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 412 Precondition Failed
10:42:43 ERROR 412: Precondition Failed.
This is the network it was tested from:
NetRange: 75.160.0.0 - 75.175.255.255
CIDR: 75.160.0.0/12
NetName: QWEST-INET-124
NetHandle: NET-75-160-0-0-1
Parent: NET-75-0-0-0-0
NetType: Direct Allocation
The only problems we have had with her DSL is the wild DHCP renewals
(sometimes it changes IPs once a day, sometimes 10+ times a day).
Good luck!
