If you have not tried this yet, please do. At the command line type
ping
www.google.com
You should get a good result, 0 packet loss X pockets transmited X packets recieved. If this does not work try :
ping 72.14.253.104
If this works, there is a DNS error somewhere. Let me know how you make out
