Off-Site Backups?

I'd like to setup off-site backups, for both a Windows 2003 Server
and a Linux box. Are there any easy, do-it-yourself methods or cheap
ways?

It's small amounts of data, going over a Cox cable line.

I would love for anyone who has ideas in this area.
