X-CD-Roast (I've only ever installed it from source but it's always worked
out well for me.)
has worked out okay for me, as has k3b (for you KDE fans.. weirdos!) but I
find myself using that sort of thing less and less.
cdrecord itself is awesome! But I understand some folks aren't inclined to
want to cli their cd burning.
