There have been a lot of OEM Athlon XP's that have been overclocked and sold
as something they were never intended to be. I got burned by three of them in
the last year. I think most of them probably run for years without problem.
I've only seen one that wouldn't at least initially run okay at the increased
speed.
I've had good success w/ OEM Athlon's in the past, but I won't waste any time
with them any more. The 'bootleg's' have gotten too good.
