I'm on Cox - have never had a problem connecting to web server
plug.phoenix.az.us BUT I run my own dns caching server.

[root@lin-workstation craig]# host plug.phoenix.az.us
plug.phoenix.az.us has address 66.98.190.6

[root@lin-workstation craig]# host -t any plug.phoenix.az.us
plug.phoenix.az.us has address 66.98.190.6
plug.phoenix.az.us name server ns3.LuftHans.com.
plug.phoenix.az.us name server ns2.sequoia.net.

Same thing but using Cox DNS server

[root@lin-workstation craig]# host -t any plug.phoenix.az.us 68.2.16.30
Using domain server:
Name: 68.2.16.30
Address: 68.2.16.30#53
Aliases:

plug.phoenix.az.us has address 66.98.190.6
plug.phoenix.az.us mail is handled by 10 ns3.LuftHans.com.
