I need a linux "Buddy". A buddy for me is someone who can help me learn
Linux without thinking my questions are dumb. I am a total dummy when it
come to Linux. To learn Linux I am taking a class at a community college
and I am setting up 4 dual boot computers with 4 different distros. I
learn by doing and "seeing". Just verbalizing it does not do it for me.
Some people answer a question by trying to prove how stupid it is to ask
the question. Well I am dumb and stupid when it comes to Lunix. So I
need a Linux buddy who is beyond that attitude. Over the phone and
internet help is all I need.
In exchange I can help my buddy in a few areas. First I have "never" had
an employer and now I am mostly retired except for my hobbies and
managing my investments. I have always owned my own business.
So if you want to own your own business I will be a good buddy for you.
I also I did my graduate work at Harvard Business School. So if you want
to know how to make "money" I am your buddy. I owned a seminar business
where I taught people how to price and market their products and service
a lot of computer people could use this help. Also I own an Intel
dealership so if my buddy needs computer parts thats available. I have a
computer for kids program where I rebuild computer and donate them for
free to single parent families, so I want to learn all about linux so I
can distribute these computers with my own "kid" type of distro.
So I need a "Buddy" to ask my stupid questions and then if I have to I
will post my questions to list like this one.
