That's what I was thinking. I'm building a dedicated single processor
app server with 2Gig of phyical ram. My judgement is to give it 2Gig of
swap as well. I'll be making PDF's on the fly and these PDF's are in
the double digit MB's.
Pretty soon after that, I'm building a web server, dual processor and
4Gig of ram. I'm almost thinking of cluster but I don't have enough
time with it to feel comfortable about it.
Once the PDF server hit's 50% capacity, I'll be able to afford a dual
processor app server to replace it and will most likely go with 4Gig of ram.
