Well hoping for the best.........
[root@ns1 root]# rpm -ev mutt-1.4i-1.rhl7
[root@ns1 root]# rpm -q mutt-1.4i-1.rhl7
package mutt-1.4i-1.rhl7 is not installed
So I guess no output from the -v flag means no problem.
