WBEL & all RHEL clones, fedora will never do this. They won't distribute
non-GPL code

it's so simple on any of them though...

yum --enablerepo=dag install j2re mozilla-j2re

and et voila - java run-time installed

yum --enablerepo=dag install mozilla-acroread

and et voila - acrobat reader installed

yum --enablerepo=flash install flash-plugin

and et voila - flash plugin installed

yum install mplayer mplayerplug-in mplayer-skins mplayer-fonts

and et voila - very complete multimedia player with lots of codecs

total time...3 to 30 minutes depending upon speed of internet connection

Can't say much about the Debian based builds as I haven't used them but
I would imagine it's much the same

BUT - Fedora users should just use 'smart' as it not only gives you a
gui interface for this but also handles cross-repo conflicts. I am
certain that a version for Debian is available too

hmmm... web site temporarily unavailable
