I am increasingly looking forward to getting to Phoenix. I am currently
up in Calgary and am getting real tired of the lack of driving skill up
here.

Last week I had a guy cut me off twice in under two blocks. When I tried
to get past in another lane, he literally swerved over into my lane
until the side of his van touched my side mirror (I heard the contact
and the mirror is scratched now). As we were going under a bridge at the
time, I had concrete abutments on one side and him on the other -
nowhere to go.

I started honking at him and you could tell by his reaction to the horn
that he had no idea what was going on. When I opened my window to
discuss things, I could see he was honestly perplexed about why I wasn't
pleased with him. As I continued to berate him, he slammed on the
brakes, swerved behind me across four lanes of busy traffic and took off
down a side road.

The very next day, I had another guy almost run into me. He just drifted
across three lanes of traffic and almost hit the front passenger side of
my vehicle. To this fellow's credit, he rolled down his window and
apologized profusely at the next stop light.
