linux certified scares me, the guy that answers the phone is not that
knowledgeable. All he likes to say is "irq conflicts". i think he's a
bot. lol.
emperor linux is the best for talking to a knowledgeable tech over the
phone. the only thing is man you really pay for a linux installed laptop.
they have dells and ibm's and sharps and vaios.
bottom line: i'm just going to stick it out with the compaq. Maybe
someday I'll have my own website specifically for getting this brand of
laptop running with linux fc3 or some other distro.
