Yes it is. The cd initializes and runs to the point in which the kernel and
all of the packages are installed.
So, if this is the case the question becomes, 'why does it not see the cdrom."

I don't know how long of a download that will be. Plus these go onto the
system without internet access. I suppose that I download it to somewhere and
csopy that.
