I have no idea about the practicality but i note that Microsoft's
Terminal Services Licensing FAQ says "Each device that initiates a
Terminal Services session must be licensed with *** a Terminal Services
CAL." And it makes plain elsewhere that 'device' means 'client hardware
device'. I would read that as saying that you have a license for your
laptop no matter what OS it happens to be running.
