This is probably your best choice at first. It should get you going long
enough to find out the processor is flaky now from over-heating.

In the end, you'll probably end up replacing the CPU, MB, and the RAM to match
the new board. (You can't get slot one boards new anymore, nor processors that
will work in this board even with an adapter.)
