actually, there are some text based browsers that work pretty well -
depending upon what you need to do. Text based browsers include lynx and
elinks (links). Also, wget is an incredibly powerful tool. I use these
tools a lot on servers that I don't want to install or run X on.
Sometimes, less is more.
