A $18 power supply? 450 watts?
I'd hesitate. Big time.
Consider a brand like Sparkle (FSP series), Enermax, Antec, or PC Power and
Cooling (when someone else's paying-- nice supplies, but expensive)
Realistically, a 350 watt supply works fine for most users, when it's a good 350. And
you don't plan a Geforce 6800 drawing off it.
Elitegroup motherboards... sometimes. A few models (notably Athlon boards
with the SiS chipsets) developed a strong user community. Others, good luck.
Other models go barely supported. Also few tweaker features.
I saw the Artec burner at 79 after rebate in Fry's ad.
