Subject: Re: Fry's Electronics WLAN cards

Oddly enough, at 4 O'Clock this morning I got the card running. It is a
DWL-650, not the '+', but it is a RevP which from what I can tell
everywhere is not supported. I got the latest version of wlan-ng and
that seemed to do the trick with a kernel rebuild and the ACX100 driver,
along with the prism_cs. I have not connected to a network to test yet,
but the machine is recognizing the wlan0 device for the first time since
I started, though I couldn't change any settings because I'd get
SET_FAILED something errors...

I forgot about the ndis wrapper project! Thanks for reminding me!
I will give that a shot, if it's not working properly, otherwise, I will
be begging Jeff Garland to swap with me.

Thanks again,

Nathan
