Thanks for suggesting Kino. I've tried mainActor and so far I can't even
capture video using it. Looking at kino I found out about dvgrab and
while I have to understand the man a little better I was able to capture
about a 2 min segment from my camcorder (the first evidence that I would
be able to use my camcorder with Linux). That said do you know of a yum
repos for kino because I'm stuck in dependency hell.
