Until the open source community can supply their own driver for that
card, you will have nothing but headaches with RealTek cards.
Their driver is a bitch to setup, install, and use. It is also a
***closed source driver labeled as GPL****
simply because they have a some open source wrappers for their closed
source binary.
The linuxquestions.org thread recommends using ndiswrappers...in that
case, you might as well stick to good 'ol Orinoco Gold/Silver cards.
