Some of Sun's older low-end offerings had IDE hard drives. I believe the
UltraSPARC 5 and UltraSPARC 10 workstations both had IDE drives. Some of
the newer UltraSPARC III servers (e.g. the Sun Fire V480) have IDE
controllers, too. I think they're mostly for IDE CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs, but
I imagine you could add an IDE hard drive if you wanted to. I don't know
anything about IDE support in IRIX, AIX, or HP-UX, though.
