ssh connection from !local subnet

Subject: ssh connection from !local subnet
With a default install of SuSE 9.0, I can connect via ssh from the same
subnet, but not from a remote subnet. What is it that I need to do to
allow certain hosts on remote subnets to connect via ssh?
