Agreed. Yaboot sounds like the way to go. I should be able to easily
run Gentoo full-time and then pull up the OSX operating system through
Mac-On-Linux (MOL) when I need something OSX-specific.

I'm very familiar with booting CD-based linux distros on x86
architecture. The Apple store folks will probably be willing to play
along. We'll see.
