If you lack instrumentation, you might try factoring in
the temp and relative humidity (hey, maybe even wind
speed and direction) from a site like this:

KGEU.html Glendale,

... and a few others in the Valley.
Nice text-friendly data, just needs a little
pattern recognition to add to your graph.
